MINDFULNESS MEDITATION AND MOVEMENT

I run trauma informed mindfulness sessions for groups, individuals and organizations.

I am skilled at creating an environment which feels safe and leaves you with a sense of choice when it comes to how deeply you would like to be involved during any of my mindfulness sessions.

Gradually build your confidence, sense of self and greater embodiment awareness through my mindful meditations.

Remaining still, meditating doesn't sound appealing? Try a moving meditation such a QiGong, mindful walking or a Movingness practice with myself.

My path to becoming a Qigong practitioner has been deeply shaped by my years of work in trauma recovery, somatic therapy, and nervous system regulation. The same principles that guide my hands-on and therapeutic work, presence, rhythm, breath, and embodied awareness, live at the heart of Qigong.

Qigong offers a gentle, meditative movement practice that supports the flow of life force energy (Qi) through the body. It’s a profound way to connect with your body’s natural rhythms, restore vitality, and gently unwind the effects of stress and trauma held in the system.

My approach to Qigong is trauma-informed and body-wise.

I honour the body’s pacing, boundaries, and capacities. Movements are invitational, not demanding, offering a space to explore breath, flow, and inner spaciousness without performance or pressure.

Decades of working with the nervous system have taught me that healing isn’t always about doing more, it’s about doing less, more consciously. Qigong offers that space: a slow, sacred return to self.

Whether practiced alongside therapy or as a stand-alone practice, Qigong can support:

* Nervous system regulation and grounding

* Restoring flow after trauma or illness

* Deepening embodiment and self-awareness

* Reconnecting to joy, breath, and inner stillness

This practice continues to nourish me personally and professionally, and I’m honoured to share it with others as part of an integrated approach to healing.
